Renewing Your Mind: A Transformational Journey

Renewing Your Mind: A Transformational Journey

Section 1: The Concept of Renewing Your Mind

The Bible instructs us to renew our minds, which involves replacing our thoughts with God’s. You do this by learning to speak things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

This is not a mere suggestion but a powerful tool for transformation. When your mind is aligned with God’s thoughts, your life will inevitably follow suit.

The objective is to establish the kingdom of God culture here on earth

God says, “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by renewing your mind, so that you may prove God’s will, which is good, acceptable, and perfect. Rom. 12:1,2

Renewing your mind

To effectively renew your mind and establish a kingdom culture belief system in practical terms, you can consider incorporating the following steps:

  1. Train your brain: Train your senses in the word of righteousness as mentioned in Hebrews 5: 11-14.

This involves immersing yourself in the teachings of the Bible, seeking guidance from spiritual mentors, and practicing discernment through prayer and reflection.

2. Immerse your mind with truth: Study and meditate on Scripture, as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16. Dedicate time for daily reading and reflection, engage in Bible study groups or discussions, memorize key verses, and apply the teachings of the Bible to daily life situations.

3. Prayer: Renew your mind daily through prayer, and listen to God, according to 1 Thessalonians 5:16-23.

Seek spiritual transformation through prayer and reflection, and actively engage in the process of unlearning previous beliefs incompatible with God’s word.

By actively engaging in these practical steps, you can renew your mind and establish a belief system aligned with biblical principles, thus establishing a kingdom culture belief system in your life.

Specific practical methods for immersing the mind with truth through the study and meditation of Scripture include:

1. Setting aside dedicated time for daily reading and reflection.

2. Engaging in Bible study groups or discussions.

3. Incorporating memorization of key verses.

4. Applying the teachings of the Bible to daily life situations.

To actively engage in the process of unlearning previous beliefs incompatible with God’s word, one can:

1. Intentionally align thoughts and actions with biblical principles.

2. Seek spiritual transformation through prayer and reflection.

3. Actively engage in the process of replacing old beliefs with new, God-centered beliefs.

Proving God’s will is not a passive act but an active engagement of our God-given capacity to think. Through reflective thinking, we can personally validate God’s word and its relevance to our lives. This is a powerful way to strengthen our faith and align our thoughts with God’s.

When left unattended, our minds can become a playground for negative thoughts. However, when we consistently nurture our spirit-being through communion with the Holy Spirit, our minds are influenced by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit within us.

This leaves us with a choice: to align our thoughts with God’s truth or to let our minds wander aimlessly. The power to shape our thoughts lies within us.

From the moment you are born, your mind starts gathering data and knowledge through your senses. For example, you learn from touch that heat can cause pain, so you become cautious around heat.

You have a subconscious and conscious mind, a lower, sub, and higher consciousness. Your belief system is hidden in your subconscious mind. That’s who you really are the hidden mind.

Your mind can be compared to a computer. The heart of the computer is the hard drive, which stores the operating system, applications, and data files such as documents, pictures, and music that your computer uses. The subconscious mind can be compared to the hard drive of your computer.

The computer monitor is used for data processing that displays information in pictorial form. The conscious mind can be compared to the monitor of your computer.

The human mind filters information through your established belief system and downloads what it deems important to the subconscious mind.

The mouth speaks out of the heart, the subconscious mind. This is why we have to deal with our belief system. As a man thinks in his heart (mind), so is he.

The conscious mind is like your monitor. It shows you what it wants you to see, but it never shows you everything. That’s what we are like as people.

Everything begins with your belief system. Your belief system is a set of beliefs or principles that help you interpret your everyday reality, understand, organize, and make sense of the world.

Unfortunately, everything you have learned since coming into the world is based on a fallen world system of wisdom established by Satan.

However, through its wisdom, the world did not come to know God. They would not have crucified the Lord of glory if they had understood.

Therefore, God says, “If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God.  1 Cor. 3:18,19

I once believed that success in the kingdom of God was characterized by physical and material accomplishments and possessions; the more the merrier.

I discovered that success in the kingdom of God is being able to make decisions that align with God’s word in all situations and circumstances is what qualifies as success in the kingdom of heaven.

This aligns with God’s objective of transforming us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through this practice, I discovered that you can remain happy at all times because you control the outcome of your state of mind and well-being.

One of the challenges of renewing the mind is professing believers’ lack of faith in themselves in Christ. This poor self-perspective makes the professing believer susceptible to Satan’s attacks on their position in Christ.

Because of this poor self-perspective, Satan is able to create reasonable doubt in the believer’s mind concerning what is possible and what is not due to past failures, mistakes, and discouragements of the past!

These past failures, mistakes, and discouragements of the past affect them for the rest of their life, living in the past, leaving the believer to always lean toward the worst-case scenario in life’s situations.

By leaning toward the worst-case scenario, the professing believer’s loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. Leaning toward the worst-case scenario prevents professing believers from receiving anything from God. James 1: 5-8

Therefore, we want to develop a new belief system, a new way of thinking based on God’s word concerning life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and truth.

To develop this new belief system based on the word of God, God says, “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.1 Pet. 2:1-3

The scriptures say, “How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. With all my heart, I have sought You; do not let me wander from Your commandments.

I have treasured Your word in my heart so that I may not sin against You. Blessed are You, LORD; teach me Your statutes. With my lips, I have told of all the ordinances of Your mouth.

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways. I shall delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

Deal generously with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things from Your Law. I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.” – Psalm 119:9-19

There are practical steps we can take to renew our minds and establish the kingdom belief system. Study the word of God to show yourself approved. Rightly divide the word of God. The most practical way to develop a new belief system based on the word of God is to practice righteousness.

The Bible says, “The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

No one who has been born of God practices sin because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin continually because he has been born of God.

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: [d]anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God. 1 John 3: 3-10-

Mastering the Art of Mind Control: A Journey to Self-Empowerment

Learning to control your mind away from unwanted thoughts isn’t easy. It takes hard work and plenty of focus. Some days, your unwanted thoughts might take a toll on you.

But what’s important is that you avoid thinking, “Can you control your mind?” because you certainly can. This journey of self-control is empowering, and it’s within your reach.

Here are five tips to help you learn how to control your mind:

  1. Practice focusing on the word of God. Through constant reading, meditating, and studying, you must fill your soul, the center of your reasoning, will, emotions, and intellect, with the word of God.

It is the word of God, the only truth that allows you to take control of your mind. This gives you spirit-being more control of your mind and life.

Focusing on the word of God allows you to bring all thoughts that go against the word of God captive to the word of God. 2 Cor. 10: 3-6

  1. Include positive affirmations in your self-talk rather than put-downs. Remember who you are in Christ according to who God created you to be.
  2. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil. 4:12,13
  3. Through faith, all things are possible for me.
  4. I have the mind of Christ.
  5. I am created in the image and likeness of God.

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer me who lives, but Christ lives in me. So, I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20

I know how to get along with little and how to live in prosperity; in every circumstance, I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, of having abundance and suffering. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

  1. Take a pause during your day to slow your mind down to break the monotony. .

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:10,11

Therefore, do not waste your confidence, which is a great reward. You need endurance so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. Heb. 10:35,36

  1. Give things that once triggered negative thoughts a new meaning. See the good in whatever is happening. Ask the question, “How is God allowing this for my good in transforming me into the image of Christ”?

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that testing your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

  1. Intentionally practice being calm by presenting your requests to God in every situation through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. This will allow the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

This will allow you to experience God working on your behalf, strengthening your confidence in approaching God: He hears us if we ask anything according to his will. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5: 14,15

Why is it important to control your mind?

Having control over your mind gives you control over your life. As a man thinks so is he. This is how we stand against the devil’s schemes.

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph. 6:10-12

Sometimes, we have to control our thoughts against thoughts that seem positive but can actually lead us to something negative or upsetting.

It’s important to be realistic about our environment and have healthy optimism. Being too positive, to the point where it’s toxic, isn’t good for our minds either. Recognizing and controlling that is just as important as managing our unwanted thoughts. Your offensive weapons are the word o0f God and prayer.

What are the benefits of controlling your mind?

Being in control of your thoughts allows you to carry out the will of God for your life. God’s will is that you should be sanctified (set it apart for God’s special use and purpose), that you should avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God. 1 Thess. 4: 3-5

God says in His word, “In a wealthy home, some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay.

The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

Opponents must be gently instructed in the hope that God will grant them repentance, leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Tim. 2:20-22

The Word of God

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Tim. 3: 16,17

This new belief system will be the standard for evaluating, judging, and validating our life experiences and provide the standard for what is acceptable and what is not. You are responsible for upholding all things by the word of God’s power.

As a born-again believer no longer conformed to the world, “you,” spirit being,” are now responsible for building a life and community that represents the kingdom of heaven here on earth based on the word of God.  Heb. 1:3,4; 1 Cor. 11:7

A group of people sitting around a table

Description automatically generatedThis provides a distinct identity for us as born–again believers. These biblical truths and perceptions are the only foundation for spiritual unity, growth, and oneness of mind, where everyone operates in unconditional love, which requires no change but inspires change.

Our biblical perspectives are our focus as we establish the kingdom culture that keeps us out of the world system. This is the standard of the born-again believer, which produces our reality, the only reality that matters.  Rom. 12: 1,2

Our biblical perspective provides an explanation of how and why we do things as we do. These principles and perspectives will be passed along from generation to generation through our testimonies, scripture, training, teaching, and lifestyles.

This gives the kingdom structure and provides security, stability, peace of mind, clarity, and total assurance that you are in line with God in your life and service to God and humanity. It develops a state of overwhelming confidence that you are in line with God and following God according to His word.

Before being born-again, your mind could not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to it, and cannot understand them because your mind has been programmed to love and pursue things created rather than God the creator. Rom. 1: 21-25

Therefore, you must program your mind not to love this world or the things it offers you. The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a desire for everything we see, and an overwhelming sense of pride in our achievements and possessions.

These are not from the father but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. 1 John 2:15-17

This deceptive world system encourages humanity to determine one’s worth by possessions and status. This worldly evaluation of oneself has created an identity crisis in most people’s lives.

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. The word for heart is the spirit of the mind. It is the subconscious; God calls it the hidden man of the heart. It’s the part of the mind where you store the ideas you have accepted as truth. Prov. 23:7

When you read the word heart in the bible, it usually talks about your mind. When David said oh Lord, create in me a new heart and renew in me a new spirit.

The word spirit is a small “s,” which means attitude. David said my sin is a product of my ideas that I allowed to take root. I need you to purify my heart and change my mind and my thinking system.

Every sin you ever committed began with a thought. You cannot sin by mistake; it is impossible. Sin is the result of a thought that came from an idea you allowed to take root.

So, David said to create in me a clean heart. Clean out my thought deposits. He said my beliefs are causing me to sin, change me; I have become my thoughts.

That is why when you were born-again, God gave you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. He took out your stony, stubborn heart and gave you a tender, responsive heart. And He put His Spirit in you so you will follow His decrees and carefully obey His regulations. Ezek. 36:26,27

The Subconscious Mind

You can listen to information, and it just goes through your conscious mind, but those you grab, pull down, and keep get stored in your subconscious, becoming a belief you trust.

Train your subconscious mind using subliminal audio messages. The Bible is ripe with spiritual truths explaining God’s mind and ways. Subliminal learning helps the subconscious human brain adjust to God’s word.

If you want to improve your life, start by improving your attitude and thinking and then start cleaning your life. Improvement doesn’t come overnight; going to a hypnotherapist for one session will solve nothing.

Improvement doesn’t come overnight. Going to a hypnotherapist for one session will solve nothing.

Playing a subliminal product for one week will also have no lasting effects on you. You might feel better, stronger, and more optimistic, but be aware that it is easy to fall back on your old ways.

The first step I suggest is reading the Bible from Genesis through Revelations three times in six months. Do not study it; just power-read it.

In this assignment, you must read 22 to 23 chapters of the Bible daily. You will also need to make sacrifices and decisions to demonstrate your priorities in life.

This will require you to take inventory of what you are doing. Everything is based on the decisions you make. You must be willing to make sacrifices to live the life you want forever.

Making God-honoring, value-based choices will require you to go against your human nature and popular opinion. However, making a choice that you know honors God is much more rewarding in the long run.

Therefore, you must establish fundamental beliefs about yourself in your mind based on the unchangeable Word of God! Love, faith, and hope are the three fundamentals for righteousness and loyalty. 1 Cor. 13:13

These three fundamentals guide you in Loving the Lord your God with all with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31).

Scripture says, “One who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life, righteousness, and honor.” Prov. 21:21

Subliminal audio training in the principles, concepts, and truths of the word of God will erase barriers and misconceptions and help you grow at your true potential.

Being an achiever means saying No when necessary and standing up for your biblical values and principles. Be honest about how you feel regarding what family and societal norms tell you to do.

These three fundamentals—love, faith, and hope—form the basis of reality from which everything flows. They are the fundamentals for living a life that pleases God and is characterized by abundant living.

Fundamentals call attention to the primary issue in pursuing the kingdom of God and His righteousness. It is the key word in making our lives work as God intended for them to work.

Remember, there are no new fundamentals. Fundamentals are old and well-established. Be aware of those who claim to have a new fundamental.

Fundamentals are important to understand, consider, and practice if you wish to live a life that glorifies and pleases God. Don’t look for miraculous signs and wonders as evidence that you are in a relationship with God.

For false Christ and false prophets will arise and provide great signs and wonders to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

Behold, I have told you in advance. So, if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. Matt. 24:24-26

Living a life that glorifies God proves you are in a relationship with God. You consistently walk in the discipline of love, accomplished through faith and hope. With faith, all things are possible, and hope never disappoints.

To please and glorify God, you don’t have to do extraordinary things; you can just do ordinary things extraordinarily well.

You will find that only a few things make eighty percent of the difference in life. Regardless of what area of your life you are working on.

The difference between our ultimate success and failure lies in the degree to which we are willing to seek out, study, and work on those few things.

After a while of listening to my state-of-mind-changing audio, you will notice such a huge difference in yourself and your happier frame of mind that there will be no doubt in your mind that you made a good choice going subliminal with my training audio!

Before undertaking this step to implement the fundamentals of love, faith, and hope, you must ask the following questions: What are the most important few things that will make the major difference in implementing these fundamentals in my life?

Understanding and practicing them is the first intelligent step toward accomplishing your outcomes and living your new life in Christ.

If you want your life to change, you must change. If you change, everything will change for you. If you get better, everything will get better for you.

If you will change your beliefs and habits, refine your thinking, and accept some new disciplines, if you will turn the corner from where you have been in the past to go for a new life in the future, God has promised remarkable things for your life.

Programming your mind in God’s truth concerning life, liberty, your pursuit of happiness, and the truth is crucial to understanding who and what sort of person you have become since birth and why you relate to others the way you do. Rom. 3:9-18

This allows you to determine what changes have to be made in your mind to represent God in your life. (Rom. 12: 1-3, Eph. 4:17-32)

Differentiating between thoughts aligned with God’s word and thoughts influenced by the world’s wisdom requires intentional discernment and reflection. Here are a few ways to help differentiate between the two:

1. Measure against Biblical Truth: Compare your thoughts and beliefs with the teachings and principles found in the Bible. If a particular thought aligns with and is supported by the Word of God, it is likely aligned with God’s word. On the other hand, if a thought contradicts or deviates from biblical principles, it may be influenced by the world’s wisdom.

2. Seek Guidance from Spiritual Mentors: Engage with individuals who demonstrate a deep understanding of scripture and seek their counsel on the thoughts and beliefs you are grappling with. Their wisdom and insights can help you discern whether your thoughts are aligned with God’s word or influenced by worldly wisdom.

3. Evaluate the Source: Consider the source of the thoughts or beliefs. Are they rooted in materialism, self-centeredness, or worldly success, or do they reflect humility, love, and righteousness as exemplified in the Bible? Thoughts influenced by the world’s wisdom often prioritize worldly gain and self-gratification, whereas thoughts aligned with God’s word prioritize spiritual growth, love, and service to others.

4. Prayer and Reflection: Regularly spend time in prayer and reflection, seeking God’s guidance and wisdom in evaluating your thoughts. Through prayer, you can invite the Holy Spirit to illuminate your mind and provide discernment between thoughts aligned with God’s word and those influenced by the world’s wisdom.

By actively engaging in these practices, you can develop a deeper understanding of discerning between thoughts aligned with God’s word and thoughts influenced by the world’s wisdom, ultimately aligning your mind with the truth of the scriptures.

Program your mind where you want to go, and your mind will find it. What you focus on, you strengthen! This new life is about who you become, not what you accomplish or possess.

You will only change when your belief system changes. So, hopefully, you have given your life to the Lord to do the most challenging thing in the world: change your belief system.

Remember, you are still in momentum, so achieving the results you believe in will take a while.

The Influence of Core Values Over Decision- Making

The Influence of Core Values Over Decision- Making

“Unleash the Power of Your Core Values for Inspired Decision-Making!

Hi neighbor

Today, I want to discuss the power of influence and how it shapes our decision-making process. Have you ever stopped to consider what drives your choices and actions? Our desires, beliefs, and values greatly influence our decisions and paths we choose to follow in life.

Believing in God and entrusting your life to Him can often evoke numerous fears and apprehensions. These emotions stem from the initial mental assault by Satan on humanity’s consciousness, as depicted in the story of Adam and Eve. (Gen. 3: 1-5)

What are your desires? How is the world influencing you in your pursuit of them? These are essential questions we must ask ourselves. Our habits, views on life, and attitude are all formed by our core values, the things we believe are important. These values serve as the foundation for our decision-making process and ultimately shape our lives.

When considering our methods of attaining our desires, it’s crucial to align them with God’s Word. Reflecting on our actions, regular prayer, seeking guidance from spiritual mentors, and making value-based choices are key steps in this process. Practical examples include prioritizing acts of kindness, showing compassion, being honest and trustworthy, and striving for personal spiritual growth rooted in righteousness, love, and grace.

While making God-honoring, value-based choices may not always seem practical or logical, we’ll find that choosing what honors God is ultimately more rewarding in the long run. It’s essential to evaluate our methods of attaining our desires to ensure they align with God’s Word, which serves as the ultimate guide to success.

Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life Changing

Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life Changing

The Power of Two: Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life-Changing. Like anything else in life, you must grow. It takes time and effort. You would not put a plant in the ground and expect fruit the next day. So be patient.

Similarly, you have to do the right things to take care of your spiritual growth and development. You must nurture your success. The steps are simple. Don’t overthink it. Keep it simple. Just follow the instructions.

Two is a small number. and it is the focus of this ministry. God says in His Word; “Where 2 or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the mist of them” (Matthew 18:20). This is the main reason why Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life Changing.

The principle behind this concept is working together to enrich each other’s lives to leverage our physical and spiritual resources. Which is why Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life Changing.

It can become overwhelming to think that you have to go it alone once you realize all of the changes that must take place in your life to be a disciple of Christ.

That is why having others to walk you through the process and sow into your life is so important and makes the process enjoyable and more effective.

In the kingdom of God, if you believe, you will see the glory of God at work in the natural.

You will not see it in the natural if you do not believe first in the divine realm. Acting on what God has said, His word that you say you believe in. God has a revealed will, and He has a secret will. Deuteronomy. 29 verse 29

You will never see God’s secret will until you follow His revealed will, doing what He told you to do. Until you do what He has told you, you will not see His unrevealed plan. This is why Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life-Changing.

The solution is always there but is not revealed until obedience is complete. If you do not give God something to see, you may not see what God can provide.

That is why we need a strong support system in the community, people who will support and carry you when you cannot help yourself.

People who care about you, who will cry with you, pray for you, and are willing to help you get your breakthrough! Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life-Changing when we help each other in this manner.

Those who are spiritual (who understand how the spiritual realm works) are to come along and help them through the situation, not try to fix it. James 1:2 through 4

Therefore, you want only spiritually mature believers who can discern what is of God and what is not. Believers who understand how the spiritual realm works because those who do not will only be led away from God.

God says that understanding the spiritual world is so important that you should highly value spiritual input. This is why Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life-Changing.

You should support and highly value that ministry or person who teaches you how the spiritual realm works and guides you out of the negative side of this law, which is sowing to the flesh. 1 Corinthians 9:12

Therefore, everyone in your church should be getting help to be delivered or helping someone get delivered because if you are helping someone get delivered, you will have someone to help you and others get delivered.

Five steps to spiritual growth and development

1. Commit yourself to God: The most important person you will ever need is YOU. When you

believe that God is working through this ministry, you will be confident when talking to others

outside of this ministry about why you are here. Your entire objective must be to glorify God and

not please people. This is essential for you to stay true to the process.

2. Be teachable: Even though you may have been very successful in other ventures and other

ministries, most people who join this ministry are new to the process. Therefore, it is important that you have faith in the membership and follow the instructions of those who have succeeded before you.

3. Stay Informed: Participate in weekly training webinars. Be familiar with the most recent

teachings on the website and printed materials. Read and study the Church Constitution and

Bylaws and Church Covenant. Read and study the church doctrine and theology to become confident when asked what we believe and why.

4. Study, study, study: The key to spiritual growth is to ensure proper training. That training is done by the Holy Spirit, whose responsibility it is to lead you into all the truth about God even the deep things. (John 16 verse 13)

Therefore, you must study the Word of God on a regular basis. You should be well versed in the books that the church is going through in bible study and the sermons. These should be your focus of study but not limited to.

5. Be a leader: This is your life! Take responsibility to make the effort, time and energy required to build and maintain a relationship with God and other members. Influence is the key.

It all begins with you. As you grow to become a leader, assist other members in becoming leaders themselves.

Now is the time to engage. Start doing the little things daily to make the big things happen later.

Today, While You Hear My Voice, Harden Not Your Heart!

The Principle: Tomorrow’s Not Promised” is true.

Now is the time to take control of your life.

You are perfectly positioned for this opportunity……. NOW!

It all starts with you! Investing in your spiritual growth and development is the greatest

investment you will ever make in your life.

When Adam disobeyed God, he lost his authority to carry out God’s will for his life to Satan, making Satan the ruler of this world and his life. Adam’s disobedience also sold mankind into slavery to Satan. (John 14: 30; Romans .6:20 through 21)

Therefore, carrying out God’s plan for your life will require you to operate in your God-given spiritual authority. Your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior guarantees that the principalities and powers have already submitted to your authority. (Ephesians. 6:10 through 18)

Authority is the key because spiritual character is not measured by the impressiveness of words but by the power of your life. (Matthew 7:21 through 23).

This ministry will teach you how to effectively exercise that authority. and see why Leveraging The Power Of Two Is Powerful And Life Changing.

As a believer, your God-given authority gives you the authority to carry out God’s will for “YOUR” life. (1Thesselonians. 4: 3 through 7)

A Better Ministry            Heb. 8:1-13                                                 June 22, 2024

Introduction

As we read today’s text, Hebrew chapter eight, we explore the concept of the new covenant, revealing great knowledge and insight to believers.

The text stresses the superiority of the new covenant brought by Jesus Christ and explores its transformative impact on the relationship between God and His people.

Throughout the passage, the text highlights the “better promises” of the new covenant and underscores the significant shift from the old covenant to this renewed, more intimate form of connection with God.

As we engage with this text, I want you to reflect on the practical applications of these “better promises” and how they shape our daily lives and interactions with others.

We seek that outcome. How do the new covenant’s better promises shape our daily lives and interactions with others?

We will be coming from Heb. 8: 1-13. Read

Our topic is “ The New Covenant and Its Impact on the Relationship between God and His People.”

  1. The text in verses 1-6 discusses how Jesus Christ, as the high priest, offers a more excellent ministry and serves as the mediator of a better covenant.

The “better promises” mentioned in the text refer to the promises of the new covenant being superior to those of the old covenant.

The new covenant differs from the old covenant in that it involves a more intimate relationship with God. His laws are written in the hearts and minds of the people, and He will be merciful towards their wrongdoings, unlike the old covenant, which was based on external laws and offerings.

In verse 12, the text also states that the old covenant is becoming obsolete and growing old because the new covenant made it obsolete, bringing about a more profound and everlasting relationship between God and His people.

This text addresses the very core of our beliefs and our connection with God. The passage reminds us of the incredible promise of a new covenant brought to us by Jesus Christ, who serves as a high priest and the mediator of this better covenant.

This symbolizes a transition from the old, traditional ways to a new, enlightened path. This beautifully mirrors our own personal journeys, as we let go of past limitations and embrace the transformative power of the new covenant

The “better promises” mentioned in the text indicate the superior nature of the new covenant over the old. It assures us of a more intimate relationship with God, where His laws are written in our hearts and minds and where He shows mercy and forgiveness toward our wrongdoings.

This covenant offers us a direct and personal connection with God, unlike the old covenant, which was based on external laws and offerings. It assures that we will all know God, from the least to the greatest among us.

The new covenant brings new hope, a fresh start, and an everlasting bond with our Creator. Through this covenant, we are granted the grace and ability to truly know God, from the least to the greatest among us. It speaks of a profound and transformational relationship that transcends the limitations of the old covenant.

So, how does the new covenant, with its better promises, shape our daily lives and interactions with others?

It offers humanity a fresh start. Jesus, in His profound wisdom, said, “I came so that they would have life and have it abundantly. Life is the essence of human existence, a self-conscious fountain of intelligence.

It’s a life filled with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.

Through this new covenant, God’s divine power has granted us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. Through these, He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust. 2Pet. 1:3,4

The placement of the first man in Eden beautifully illustrated the divine concept of living an abundant life. The name ‘Eden ‘, originated from Hebrew, signifies a ‘place of pleasure ‘. In the Bible, Eden is portrayed as God’s garden of paradise, a place of perfect harmony and abundance, where Adam and Eve were blessed to dwell.

Living abundantly means having a life filled with spiritual blessings and purpose, experiencing a deep connection with God, and being able to impact the lives of others positively.

It is about finding joy and fulfillment in relationships, personal growth, and in serving others. This concept also encompasses embracing gratitude, contentment, and inner peace regardless of external circumstances. Ultimately, living abundantly means living in alignment with your faith in God and values and striving to make a meaningful difference in the world around you.

Jesus did not come to fix our old life. He came to give us an opportunity to have an entirely new life. We are not here to help get the things of the world and get you out of trouble. We are here to help wean you off of the things of the world and walk you through trouble. Phil.3: 8; James1:3-6, 1 John 2:15-17

We are not here to solve the world’s problems but to establish a new culture representing heaven, living a self-controlled life characterized by righteousness and abundance through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Creating a community and environment on Earth that reflects the values and virtues of heaven. It’s living a life guided by self-discipline, moral purity, and spiritual abundance empowered by the Holy Spirit. This concept includes promoting virtues such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.2 Tim. 2:4

We are not here to teach you how to be famous but to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, attend to your own business, and work with your hands so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need. 1 Thess. 4:11,12

The phrase “establish a new culture representing heaven, living a self-controlled life characterized by righteousness and abundance through the power of the Holy Spirit” means,

Walking by the Spirit prevents you from carrying out the desire of the flesh. For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, to keep you from doing whatever you want. Gal. 5:16,17

Living a life guided by self-discipline, moral purity, and spiritual abundance involves submitting to and applying biblical ethical principles, maintaining a strong connection to your spiritual beliefs, and consistently making choices that align with these values.

It also involves regularly and thoughtfully studying the word of God, praying, and meditating on it to stay focused on spiritual growth and development.

To be weaned off the things of the world and walk through trouble, you must choose to prioritize self-control, resilience, and reliance on your faith rather than relying solely on material possessions or external solutions.

This involves seeking support from a spiritual community, engaging in self-analysis, and embracing the concept of surrendering to God’s will when faced with challenges. James 4:7

Establishing a new culture representing heaven in everyday life involves embodying and promoting virtues such as compassion, forgiveness, kindness, and generosity in interactions with others.

It also includes creating a supportive and inclusive community that reflects the values of love and harmony. This can be accomplished through acts of service, fostering meaningful connections, and demonstrating empathy and understanding towards others. Matt. 6:10

Jesus went through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.

Seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them because they were distressed and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send workers into His harvest.” Matt. 9:35-38

The teachings of Jesus mentioned in the text can inspire people in their daily lives in several ways. For instance, Jesus’ message about living abundantly can inspire individuals to seek spiritual fulfillment and purpose.

This can lead to a deepened connection with their faith and a desire to positively impact others positively. Additionally, Jesus’ emphasis on compassion and service to others can inspire people to actively seek ways to help those in need and make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Overall, Jesus’s teachings serve as a powerful source of inspiration for individuals seeking to live with purpose, compassion, and a commitment to serving others. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Cor. 3:9

Although God has written His words on your heart, He also knew you would need someone to prepare you for service.

So, He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ. Eph. 4:1016

Our responsibility is to give you spiritual advice and counsel to help you make decisions that are best for your spiritual growth and development. We train you in the word of righteousness so that your senses will be trained to discern what is of God and what is not. Heb. 5: 11-14

One way to apply the message of compassion and service to others in the community is by actively seeking out opportunities to volunteer and help those in need.

This could involve participating in community service projects, volunteering at local shelters or food banks, or getting involved in programs that aim to support marginalized individuals or families.

Additionally, practicing daily acts of kindness and empathy towards others, regardless of their circumstances, can also be a meaningful way to embody the message of compassion in the community. By actively looking for ways to serve and support others, individuals can create a more compassionate and caring community for everyone.

Therefore, from now on, we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, we now know Him in this way no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Cor. 5:14-17

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility, consider one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also the interests of others.

Do all things without complaining or arguments so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding firmly the word of life. Phil. 2:3,4,14-16

Someone can see themselves as a worker in God’s field by recognizing that they have a role in sharing and embodying God’s love and teachings in the world.

This can involve actively seeking opportunities to spread positivity, kindness, and empathy in their interactions with others. Additionally, it can mean living in alignment with their faith and values and striving to positively impact the lives of those around them.

Recognizing yourself as a worker in God’s field can influence interactions with others by fostering a sense of responsibility to act with love and compassion and to be a source of support and encouragement for others.

This mindset can shape the way individuals approach relationships, conflicts, and opportunities to help others, ultimately contributing to a more interconnected and caring community.

The “better promises” of the new covenant can manifest in our daily interactions with others in various ways.

For example, the promise of God’s mercy and forgiveness towards our wrongdoings can inspire us to extend similar compassion and forgiveness to those around us, fostering a more empathetic and understanding approach to our interactions.

Additionally, the promise of a direct and personal connection with God encourages us to seek unity and connection with others, promoting a sense of community and mutual support in our daily lives.

Finally, the promise of a fresh start and an everlasting bond with our Creator can instill hope and positivity in our interactions, allowing us to uplift and encourage others through our words and actions.

Practical example: Rom. 12:3-21: Read

The new covenant’s “better promises” can translate into practical implications for our daily lives and interactions with others by offering us a fresh start and a deep connection with God.

This can empower us to live abundantly, aligning with our faith and values by experiencing spiritual blessings, finding joy, and serving others.

Living abundantly can make a meaningful difference in the world around us by allowing us to impact the lives of others positively and striving to make a meaningful difference in the world around us.

Remember God always crushes you when he wants to make you powerful. Never forget, it is a process with God. Without pain, there would be no growth. So, accept and embrace the pain. God is only asking you if you really want to achieve your goals. Isaiah 53:10

I can guarantee you that when you start walking with God, people will stop walking with you. not because they don’t like you but because you are about to sacrifice things they are unwilling to.

When God takes you into deep waters, not everyone will be able to swim with you. However, do not confuse movement with progress because you can run in place but not get anything done. This walk is not about what you gain or achieve; it is about what are you becoming. Psalm 69:1-12

Take a moment and think: Are you moving forward? Who are you taking with you, and how are you improving things with God’s power?

You have a gift you were born with it. Now, it’s time for you to develop that gift. You must do everything necessary to protect it and then share it.

The process won’t be easy but trust in God’s plan. Keep pushing forward, and never give up. Inspired by a quote from Denzel Washington

In closing,

In conclusion, the new covenant with its “better promises” reshapes our daily lives and interactions with others by offering us a fresh start and the opportunity to live abundantly.

It provides us with a more intimate relationship with God, fills our lives with spiritual blessings, and grants us the ability to impact the lives of others positively.

Embracing this transformative covenant allows us to find joy, purpose, and inner peace, and empowers us to make a meaningful difference in the world around us.

Let us hold onto these “better promises” and walk confidently in the grace and knowledge of God, knowing that we are partakers of a divine nature, and that through Him, we can live a life that is truly abundant.

Meditate on these things, and Hear what the Lord is saying.

Be blessed and be a blessing to all you come in contact with today. So that the world will now that hope and deliverance is here.

“Until The Whole World Knows”  Amen. Amen.

God promises to give you a new heart

God promises to give you a new heart

God says, “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by renewing your mind, so that you may prove God’s will, that which is good, acceptable, and perfect. Rom. 12:1,2. So, God promises to give you a new heart and a new spirit. God also promises to put His Spirit within you.

Some practical ways of renewing your mind according to God’s word are.

  1. You must treasure the word of God in your heart.
  2. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.
  3. The mind of the discerning acquires knowledge,
  4. And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Paul revealed an example of setting one’s mind on things above, not earthly things. Paul said, “Whatever were gains to me, I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

Moreover, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.

I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in a Christ—the righteousness that comes from God based on faith.

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participate in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death and attaining the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I have already obtained all this or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Phil. 3:7-12

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:15-17

From the moment you are born, your mind starts gathering data and knowledge through your senses. For example, you learn from touch that heat can cause pain, so you become cautious around heat.

You have a subconscious and conscious mind. The difference between the two is that your belief system is stored in the subconscious mind. It is the seat of your emotions, will, intellect, and reasoning. That’s who you really are, the hidden mind.

The conscious mind filters information through your belief system and downloads what it deems essential to the subconscious mind.

Some practical steps to renew your mind based on the word of God are:

  1. Programming your mind in what you believe. 2 Cor. 10:5
  2. Establishing your heart in what you believe. Luke 6:45
  3. Develop your speech based on what you believe. James 3:2

Scriptures teach that the mouth speaks out of the heart, the subconscious mind. This is why we have to deal with our belief system.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander. These are what make a man `unclean.’ Matt. 15:19

To build a new belief system based on God’s word, we must develop a new way of thinking based on God’s word concerning life and truth.

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth. God says,” You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John 8:32

The process of renewing one’s mind according to God’s word is:

  • Allow the Bible to explain itself.

The importance of allowing the Bible to explain itself is because God said, Order on order, order on order, Line upon line, line upon line.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Prov. 3:5-8

Reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation three times in six months is important because it allows the word of God to be stored in your subconscious mind.

Having a biblical perspective and belief system as a born-again believer is essential. Our biblical perspective guides us in building a life and community that represents the kingdom of heaven here on earth based on the word of God.  Heb. 1:3

This provides a distinct identity for us as born–again believers.

Our biblical perspectives are necessary for the formation and maintenance of kingdom culture. As believers who no longer conform to the world system, we are developing a culture representing God’s kingdom.

Having a biblical perspective and belief system means seeing things, not how the world sees them but how the Lord says they are.

Everything begins with your belief system. Your belief system is a set of beliefs or principles that help you interpret your everyday reality, understand, organize, and make sense of the world.

Unfortunately, everything you have learned since coming into the world is based on a fallen world system of wisdom established by Satan.

However, the world, through its wisdom, did not come to know God. If they had understood, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Therefore, God says, “If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God.  1 Cor. 3:18,19

This belief system will be the standard for evaluating, judging, and validating our life experiences, and it will provide the standard for what is acceptable and what is not.

Our biblical perspective explains how and why we do things as we do. These principles and perspectives will be passed along from generation to generation through our testimonies, scripture, training, teaching, and lifestyles.

This gives the kingdom structure and provides security, stability, peace of mind, clarity, and total assurance that you are in line with God in your life and service to God and humanity. You have a sense of overwhelming confidence that you are in line with God and following God according to His word.

The word of God provides the foundation and standard for evaluating, judging, and validating our life experiences.

It is the standard by which we measure events and circumstances in the kingdom community and provides the standard for what is accepted and what is not.

Before being born again, your life is set according to your belief system, which determines your quality of life. It is what holds you in the state that you are in.

Unfortunately, the mind of humanity has been programmed to love things created rather than God the creator. Rom. 1: 21-25

Therefore, you must program your mind not to love this world or the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.

The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions.

These are not from the Father but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. 1 John 2:15-17

This deceptive world system encourages humanity to determine one’s worth by one’s possessions and status. This worldly evaluation of oneself has created an identity crisis in most people’s lives.

“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. The word for heart is the spirit of the mind. It is the subconscious; God calls it the hidden man of the heart. It is the part of the mind where you store the ideas you have accepted as truth. Prov. 23:7

When you read the word heart in the bible, it usually talks about your mind. When David said oh Lord, create in me a new heart and renew in me a new spirit.

The word spirit is a small “s; it means attitude. David said my sin is a product of my ideas that I allowed to take root. I need you to purify my heart and change my mind and thinking system.

Every sin you ever committed began with a thought. You cannot sin by mistake; it is impossible. Sin results from a thought or an idea you are allowed to take root.

So, David said create in me a clean heart. Clean out my thought deposits. He said my beliefs are causing me to sin, change me; I have become my thoughts. God promises to give you a new heart.

That is why when you were born-again, God gave you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. He took out your stony, stubborn heart and gave you a tender, responsive heart. And He put His Spirit in you so you will follow His decrees and carefully obey His regulations. Ezek. 36:26,27

You can listen to information, and it just goes through your conscious mind, but those you grab onto, pull down and keep get stored in your subconscious, becoming a belief you trust.

You will only change when your belief system changes. So, hopefully, you have given your life to the Lord to do the most challenging thing in the world: change your own belief system.

Scriptures say, “How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. I have sought You with all my heart; do not let me wander from Your commandments.

I have treasured Your word so that I may not sin against You.

Open my eyes so that I may behold wonderful things from Your Law. I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me. Psalm 119:9-19

How to pray Jesus prayer

How to pray Jesus prayer

“And when you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they will be seen by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

“And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.

Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. ‘Give us this day [g]our daily bread. ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Matt. 6:5-13

Opportunity to establish kingdom government v. 9,10: Isa. 9: 6,7: For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders

And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity.

The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!

Jesus coming to earth can be likened to special ops in the military.

He came to disarm the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

Jesus’ victory cleared the way for the church and ground troops to enter and drive out the enemy’s influence to establish kingdom rule where the enemy once ruled.

This is what Jesus accomplished through His victory over Satan

As a born-again believer, you have become a member of the Lord of heaven’s army.

Now start your training in spiritual warfare against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and evil spirits in the heavenly places.

The objective is to establish the kingdom of heaven here on earth as we await Jesus return.

The kingdom of heaven is where God rules in the heart of the believer and the believer rules over their circles of influence.

Establishing the kingdom of heaven here on earth requires Learning how to rule in Kingdom Authority.

This authority consists of executing your authority over the spirit realm and removing their influence from our circles of influence.

God’s authority is the only authority that Satan and his demons will submit to.

As a believer your God given authority gives you the authority to carry out God’s will for “YOUR” life. (1Thess. 4: 3-7)

The goal is to repossess all that was given over to Satan through Adam’s disobedience to God starting with your mind. 2Cor. 10: 3-5

Once we have mastered taking spiritual authority over the spirits working in our personal lives, we are now able to take authority over spirits working in our environment.

Example:

And a centurion’s slave, who was highly regarded by him, was sick and about to die. When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders asking Him to come and save the life of his slave.

When they came to Jesus, they earnestly implored Him, saying, “He is worthy for You to grant this to him; for he loves our nation, and it was he who built us our synagogue.”

Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof; for this reason I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

“For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”

Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”

When those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health. Luke 7:2-10

Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.

Seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me.”

For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times, and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard, and yet he would break his bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.

And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered him. They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss.

Now, there was a herd of many swine feeding there on the mountain, and the demons implored Him to permit them to enter the swine.

And He gave them permission. And the demons came out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. Luke 8:26-33

Therefore, a good soldier of Christ Jesus doesn’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.

How to identify a foreigner in your neighborhood

How to identify a foreigner in your neighborhood

My fellow born-again believers, this is just a reminder of why our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has us here. When people from another country move to America, most set out to establish a replica of their native land here. Such as Little Havana, Chinatown, etc., they establish their color, cuisine, language, and culture. This is one way to identify a foreigner in your neighborhood.

God tells us as born-again believers that as “temporary residents and foreigners,” we are to keep away from people and things that promote worldly desires that wage war against our very souls. This is how to identify a foreigner in your neighborhood.

These people and things are useless as dried-up springs or as mist blown away by the wind. They are doomed to the blackest darkness. They brag about themselves with empty, foolish boasting. With an appeal to twisted sexual desires, they lure back into sin those who have barely escaped from a lifestyle of deception.

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption, for you are a slave to whatever controls you. When people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.

It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.

Therefore, we are to build the culture of our homeland by establishing a replica of it here on Earth, which is heaven. “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

That is why God says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness. It is a community that lives by and follows the Holy Spirit’s lead. It is a community that is not boastful, does not challenge or envy one another.

It is a community whose discipline is love, characterized by joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. It is kind, never, prideful or boastful. It is a community that is not self-seeking or rude, nor easily angered, and does not keep a record of being wronged.

This community does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Always protect, trust, always hope, and always persevere. (1 Cor. 13:4-7)

You were told in advance when you became a born-again believer that when Jesus left there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them.

But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.

And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.

We are not here to save the world and its way of life. We are here to provide a refuge city/community for those who want to escape that world and its way of doing things. It is a community of born-again believers living a self-controlled life through the power of the Holy Spirit characterized by righteous and abundant living.

Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then, the God of peace will be with you.

Until The Whole World Knows”
