The Great Transformation
The coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was the start of moving those who profess and choose to serve God from religion to righteousness.
This great movement of God was for everyone, so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus broke the power of the devil, who had the power of death. This was the only way determined by God to set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. By God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.
Through His great victory over Satan through His death, burial and resurrection Jesus established the kingdom of heaven here on earth. This provides an alternative for those who no longer want to live under Satan’s rule. This kingdom of heaven is to be completed by the Saints.
To represent the kingdom of heaven here on earth God established the church the official residence of the Saints of God.
The purpose of the church is to make known the many aspects of God’s wisdom to the spiritual realm as the Saints travel and live in this world which is not their home.
The primary responsibility of the church is to be the pillar and protector of God’s truth while equipping the Saints to do his work building up the church, the body of Christ.
Only then will the Saints be able to overcome the influence of this worldly system and start speaking and living the language of the kingdom of heaven which is love.
In God’s church the Saints are being enlightened, experiencing the good things of heaven, sharing in the Holy Spirit and tasting the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come.
Each church is doing its own special work, helping the Saints grow spiritually, so that the whole body is healthy, growing and full of love.
This is crucial because all creation is waiting eagerly for the Saints who share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus to be reveal.
Since Jesus departure the church has been going through a time of suffering as God is conforming it into the image of His Son through transformation.
Through suffering the church is now coming into its own. It is being transformed, supported, strengthened, restored and placed on a firm foundation in all power and authority by God.
This is crucial for the church to be successful because only the empowered church is recognized by Satan the ruler of this world as the authorized ruling authority of God in the world and the heavenly realm.
The empowered church is clearing the way for justice, and righteousness as God is healing the land.
Soon the empowered church will be revealed to the world in the physical realm. It is a self-governing network of individual Saints living a self-controlled life through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Saints are effectively establishing the kingdom of God here on earth as they
await the return of our Lord and Savior.
