How to build the kingdom of heaven

Skills are developed when you learn how to do something. You get the most significant benefit of that knowledge when you understand it. Today we want to understand how to build the kingdom of heaven.

Knowing lacks action, while understanding is active, with the ability to analyze and place those facts in context to form a clearer picture.

Without knowledge, understanding is impossible. But knowing doesn’t necessarily lead to understanding to fully accomplish your purpose, which is the real point of gathering information.

Jesus said, “The one who hears the word and understands it bears fruit and produces, some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty times as much.” Matt. 13:23

God says, “So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

Therefore, we must understand how the Kingdom of heaven works and place those facts in the proper context to form a big picture of the Kingdom of heaven on earth and our role as God’s children.

The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The one who serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by others. So, then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. Rom. 14:17-19

First and foremost, we must understand that the kingdom of heaven is within you! The kingdom of God, Jesus replied, is not something people will be able to see and point to.

“The kingdom of heaven is where God rules in the heart of the believer, and the believer rules over God’s creation.

It is a community of believers living a self-controlled life through the power of the Holy Spirit, characterized by righteousness and abundant living while colonizing the earth for heaven.

A kingdom is a set of formal legal institutions that constitute a “government” or a “state,” having a monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen, in this case, a king.
