“The Good News of The Gospel”!
The good news is that God is no longer holding humanity’s sin against them. Jesus, the second Adam, paid the sin debt created by the first Adam. Rom. 5:19, 2 Cor. 5: 19
God is now at peace with humanity. God’s need for a blood sacrifice for sin has been satisfied through Jesus’ death. Eph. 2:11-22, Heb. 9:22
Although God has made peace with humanity, humanity is still under the condemnation of sin and has to make peace with God if it wants to have a relationship with and spend eternity with God.
However, to make peace with God, humanity must accept God’s offer of peace (salvation), which starts with being born-again through faith in Jesus.
During this salvation journey, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die.
But if, through the power of the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. All who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Rom. 8:12-14
This offer of salvation is an offer to establish the relationship with God that was broken through Adam’s disobedience to God. Being born-again establishes this relationship by adopting you into the family of God.
God has come to restore the family that He established to reflect the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
I want to share with you today some insights that will help you on your salvation journey if you desire to live a life that pleases God daily.
